WebAug 15, 2013 · NDVI is used to measure the greenness of vegetation and helps determine vegetation density and detect changes in plant health. The values close to 0 and negative values represent water bodies, 0 to 0.2 represent built-up and barren land, and +1 represents the highest possible vegetation ( Guha & Govil, 2020 ).
