WEBa year ago. Since each coin has 2 possibilities, head or tails, we can do 2*2*2, since there are 3 coins, to find the total number of possibilities. Since there needs to be 2 heads, and there is 3 coins, 2 of the 3 coins have to be heads, and that leads us to C (3,2), which is 3.
