WEBOn May 19, 1987, Stanisław Szukalski - Polish sculptor, graphic artist and art theorist, died in Burbank, California. Also known as Stach from Warta, he was a colorful and controversial figure. He came to fame in the interwar period. He painted, sculpted, and created a concept considered to be pseudoscience, assuming the ancient origin of Poles.
